-When, I would like to visit you from your background!

Suzuka: My roots are Beyonce.From there, Michael Jackson and Christine Aguilera, and her mother had been listening to Western music from an early age due to her mother.I yearn for the magnificent scale of overseas artists.

Kanon: I started dancing in longing for Kumi Koda and Namie Amuro.I like dancing flexibly with my feelings, but I'm good at swinging my hair and dancing intensely jazz hip -hop.

Suzuka: Kanon is good at acrobatics.

Mizyu: I think the encounter with Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is the biggest opportunity that I can do now.Maybe when I graduated from elementary school.

Suzuka: When I first met mizyu, I wore a thick bottom, attached a choker, put on a big glasses, and felt like "The Harajuku!"

Mizyu: I love Harajuku at that time.I thought, "How cute!"It was Kyary Pamyu Pamyu who expresses it ultimately, so it's a dazzling person for me and a very inspired person.From there, the dance came to be expressed musically instead of just dancing.

Rin: I grew up in an environment where my parents, especially my father loved hip -hop, and hip -hop was flowing since I was in my stomach.I started dancing to the sound, and started learning dancing, and the dance teacher I met in the second or third grade of elementary school was very particular about the sound, and I was editing the sound myself.。The teacher also became interested in music, and I often listened to the bitter music that ordinary elementary school students did not know.

Suzuka: At the end of the dance lesson, I asked my teacher, "What is today's song?"I was a child listening to Nirvana and Dai Antword without knowing it.

Rin: Yeah, now, listening to various music, learning after learning, "I'm good!"

-It's a very cool song selection (laughs).Is there anything like each role in the group?

Suzuka: When I get on the stage, I talk and excite.The person in charge of making a live flow and guiding everyone.

Kanon：Suzukaがメインボーカルですね。私は髪の毛の存在感が強い人（笑）。

Mizyu：Kanonは縁の下の力持ち。高さを出すために、みんなで組みになるときも、Kanonは自分から土台に入って支えてくれます。肩の筋肉が発達していますね。

Suzuka：あとKanonはよく笑う。MCでKanonが笑ってくれると嬉しいです。Mizyuは、私が野獣っぽい感じでうわぁ〜って歌うことが多いから、儚くて繊細な部分のボーカルを担ってくれています。

Mizyu: I often sing moist.Oh, I'm a leader.Once (laughs)

Rin: I hit the pad, DJ, and worked for the wrap .....。

Rin: In the dance, everyone is based on jazz, but since I have been hip -hop all the time, I think that a pretty heavy dance and animation -like nuance dance is my personality.

-Rin also had the impression that the knitting was like a professional!Do you have any different aspects and special skills from the stage?

Suzuka: I'm art.I like to draw pictures, paint clothes, draw on bicycles, and connect my memories.I am interested in everyday x art, and now I am possessed by its charm.

Kanon：私はお菓子作りが好き。甘いものが大好きで、深夜とかに突然食べたくなって、クッキーやガトーショコラを作ったりしています。

Suzuka：Kanonが誕生日に作ってきてくれたバナナマフィンが、めっちゃおいしかったんですよ。

Kanon：逆に私の誕生日には、3人からお菓子作りセットを貰いました。

Mizyu: I don't really have any special skills.Speaking of it, boil the boiled eggs in a good feeling.

Kanon：ほんとに上手。

Mizyu: I have a lot of things I like, but I can't grasp myself because I'm too mood shop.But please leave the soft -boiled eggs.

Rin：私も編み物だったり、他にも好きな物がたくさんあるなかで、Kanonのお菓子作りに対して、私は料理をするのが好き。食べること自体が好きなのと、あとは、「美味しい」って言ってもらえるのが嬉しくて。最初のLA滞在から帰国した隔離期間にも、スープカレーをスパイスから調合して作ったりしていました。

Suzuka: Rin made a lot of delicious dishes when living together in LA.But I make it very slowly.My pace.I'm so fast (laughs).

Kanon：LAにいるときは、SuzukaとKanonが先にいただきますして、RinとMizyuがのんびり何かを作ったりしていることが多かったです。

Mizyu: They are still preparing, but they were already washing (laughs).

-How period did you live in LA?

Kanon：2ヶ月半、私たちとマネージャーさんの5人で生活していました。

Suzuka: LA was just fun.Through the people who spent together over there, I was taught a raw LA culture that I could not taste on a normal trip.I lived LA!It is a feeling.It was really nice to have that experience.

Kanon：LAは全部の景色がはっきりしている印象。全部が陽って感じかな。それが人にもカルチャーにも表れていて。日本って改めて穏やかな国だな〜と思いました。

-Please tell us about the episodes that were particularly impressive in your communal life.

Rin：私たちが滞在していた家がボロボロというか、変なことがいっぱい起こったよね。

Suzuka：家に訪ねてきた人が口々に「ここ空気悪いよね？」って言っていて。夜中に一度、私とKanonの部屋の間を、誰かが通る足音が聴こえたんです。じゃりじゃりじゃりって6歩。あれは絶対にスニーカーで歩くおじいさんの足音だった。私、部屋の扉を開けたままだったから慌てて閉めて、恐怖で固まっていたら、Kanonが「今、足音聞こえた！」って部屋から出てきて。

Kanon：私は自分の部屋で勉強していたら、Suzukaと同じように足音が聴こえたんです。感覚的には自分の真横で止まった感じ。一気に鳥肌が立って、Rinがいるリビングに走って行きました。そしたらSuzukaも出てきて。フライパンとかおたまとか持って、マネージャーさんも一緒に3人でもう一回観に行ったけど、誰もいなかった…..。

Kanon：なんだかんだ愛着が沸いています。

-Forious (laughs).Please tell us about the encounter with Manny Mark, the key man of this work.

Suzuka: The agent who connected 88rising with us is also an acquaintance with Manny Mark.He thought, "If you combine the leaders and Manny Mark, it would be interesting," so I decided to go to Mark's house.It was a mysterious house full of art.From the moment we met for the first time, I thought, "Wow, this uncle is really interesting!"Somehow, I wanted to make a work with the mark, and I made and sent a video work to tell him the fun of our creative.Then, I contacted me, "Let's have a session in the studio!", And as we repeated the sessions, we gradually got to know each other, and finally, the mark also loved us.I did it.

Mizyu: We spent most of our time in our house.Since it was a production in a small room, I often took a break and went to the living room, ate sweets, refreshed, and exchanged ideas to each other, and this album was completed.Indeed, it is a work that was created only because of the "snack time".

Kanon：言葉の壁とか関係ないくらい、すっごく近い存在になれたよね。

Suzuka

-How did the music production progress?

Suzuka：今作では、私たちがまだ表現したことのないジャンルに挑戦してみたいと思っていました。海外を意識したスケール感だったり、ライブやフェスで歌う楽曲だったり。例えば、私たちがキーワードとして「ドープな感じ」とマークに伝えると、彼がどんどん“ドープ ” について掘り下げていってくれて。とにかく知識が半端ないんです。音楽はもちろんですが、人生の知識がすごい。

Kanon：パッとテーマをあげると、違う角度からそれに関するいろんな話をしてくれて、だから曲の世界観もどんどん広がっていきました。私たち毎日、マークから宿題を出されていたんです。次の日またマークに会うまでに、それぞれ歌詞やメロディーを考えたり、4人で一致団結してアイディアを出して、マークに提出して。そんな毎日を繰り返してアルバムができました。

Mizyu: In this work, I thought about dancing at the same time as the music production, and I asked the mark to see the progress each time and shared it.

Suzuka：振りというよりも、曲に対する私たちの表現の仕方や、込める想いみたいなのをダンスを通してマークに伝えて、それに合う曲をマークが提案してくれたり。毎回、私たちのダンスを見て「アメージング」、「ビューティフル」って感動してくれていたよね。ダンスに関しては、今まで一緒にやってきた私たち4人だけの感覚があって、それをマークがリスペクトしてくれたから、そこでようやく彼と対等に話せたのかな。

Mizyu: Mark especially liked the "beating choreography" in the leaders' "Koi Geba" song, so I think there was a new song that wanted to make a song that features a fight scene.。"Pineapple Kryptonite" or just.

-Sure, it's the impression that everyone is fighting well.How are the sensual parts such as choreography and how do you match them with four people?

Mizyu: First of all, I usually talk about the impression of the song and how I want to show it.So, after rubbing everyone's senses and directions as a common awareness, think about choreography.

Kanon：音に合わせて振り付けを作るというよりかは、アイディア重視。斬新な発想とかはSuzukaが得意だから、Suzukaの一言からみんなで膨らませていったり。

Suzuka：言葉になっていない抽象的な表現でも「あ〜確かに〜」で3人が理解してくれて、「じゃあその方向性で振り付け考えてくれへん？」、「私作ってくる〜」みたいな流れだよね。

Mizyu: Everyone is basically the same, and I don't think it's something other than us.

Rin：見ている角度はみんな違うかもしれないけど、その先にあるゴールが一緒なんだよね。それぞれのバックグラウンドがあるから、いろんな新しい発想が生まれて、そのひとつひとつがリーダーズの個性になっているんだと思います。

-In the seven years of coming with four people, it may be that it works greatly.Please tell me the songs that are particularly thoughtful in the five songs recorded in this work.

Suzuka：一曲に絞るのはめちゃめちゃ難しいけど、強いていうなら私は「CANDY」かな。何万人規模のフェスで爆音で流れていることを想像して作ったので、完成した曲を聴いたときは、イメージしていた景色が見えて、ワクワクが止まらなかった。私の好きなテクノの要素が入っていることもあって、今の自分のブームとマッチしているのかな。

Kanon：私は好きな曲が2曲あって、まずは「Pineapple Kryptonite」。この曲はアルバムの中で一番最初にできた曲っていうのもあって、振り付けと合わせて初めてスタジオで通した時に涙が出てきて。ダンスもすごく模索した楽曲だったし、みんなでたくさん考えた曲だから、EPの中でも特別な一曲。あとは「Happy Hormones」が好きです。誰が聴いても幸せな気持ちになれるんだけど、よくよく歌詞を見たらとんでもないこと言ってるぞっていう面白さとのギャップ。歌詞の全部にホルモンが入っているんです。そこが気に入っています。

Suzuka：「Pineapple Kryptonite」のMV撮影のラスト、私が1人で歌うシーンで、この曲が完成したときのことを思い出して気持ちがいっぱいになって……あのとき、みんな泣いてなかったっけ？

Mizyu：あのときは4人とも同じ気持ちだったと思う。

Rin：初めての感覚だった。

Suzuka：ずっとこの曲のことを考えていたから、完成したときは、やっと追い求めていたものができた達成感と、これはすごい作品を生んでしまったという興奮が押し寄せて来て、壮大な映画を一本見終わったときの感覚だった。これまでの思い出とか、この先の可能性とか、リーダーズの全てを感じて涙が止まらなかった。

Rin：最後の「ちゃん」って終わるところで、毎回毎回、胸が「ぐ〜」ってなる。

Suzuka：壮大で終わりたい。みんなの心に寄り添う形で終わりたいっていうのがあったもんね。LAで撮影したこの曲のMVも、マーク含め、周りの人たちとみんなでいろんなアイディアを出して、ストーリーボードを作って、MVの方向性を模索して。どんなエイリアンが出て来て、どんな街を襲うのか。とりあえずみんなで模型を作ってみたりして。マークが私たちに、ひとつMVを作るのにも、いろんな過程を重ねることで、もっと理解が深まって、濃い内容のものが生まれるから面白いよっていうことを教えてくれました。

Mizyu：大切な一曲ですね。私はそしたら「Fantastico」について話そうかな。これは謎のカタカナをずっと歌っているんですけど、ひとつも意味はなくて（笑）。最初にマークに会ったときに、「すごい情熱的に歌っているけど、この歌詞は何の意味もないんだよ」っていう歌を教えてもらって、そこからインスパイアされてできた曲です。哀愁漂うイタリアのディスコをイメージしていて、4人が掛け合うように歌っています。ある程度完成した状態で日本に帰国したんですけど、その後にマークがマスタリングでたくさんの音を入れてくれたみたいで、想像を遥かに超えて良くなっていたので驚きました。スキップしかけるくらいのテンションで歩かないといられないくらい、無条件にいい曲。

Rin：私はまだ出ていない、「Free Your Mind」にします。初めてみんなで滞在したLAでのいろんな経験があってこそ、生まれた曲ですね。LAは雨も降らないし、毎日が灼熱って感じだったので、その太陽を浴びてすごくハッピーな曲ができました。“心を開放する”みたいなことがテーマになっていて、歌詞もすごくポジティブ。MVもこの間撮影して、すごくいい感じに仕上がったと思います。

Mizyu：LAは日照時間がとにかく長くて、20:00くらいまで太陽が出ていて。

Suzuka：元気でいられる時間がとにかく長かったよね。

Mizyu：全部がすごくいい曲なので、何回も通して聴いてほしいです。

-Finally, please tell us your future goals.

Suzuka：『SNACKTIME』が世界中のみんなから愛される未来を作るのが、私たちの今の目標。まずは、この作品を世の中に知らしめるために、たくさん試行錯誤して、いっぱい映像作品も出して行くので、楽しみにしていて欲しいです。

Mizyu：愛さずにはいられない作品だと思う。『SNACKTIME』がどんなに美しくて深い作品なのかを、伝えていきたい。愛してほしいです。

Rin：まずは一度私たちの映像を観てもらって、どんどん沼にハマっていく人が増えてほしいです。来年の1月30日に恵比寿LIQUIDROOMでワンマンをやるので、LAから帰ってきて、パワーアップした私たちを観て欲しいなと思います。

Kanon：『SNACKTIME』がライブで披露できるのはワクワクだね。楽しみ。
