[Windows 10] How to disable the shortcut key "Left ALT+Shift" where IME switches without permission

While inputting Japanese on Windows PC, IME (Japanese input system) has become English mode (en), or has it switched to "Microsoft IME" or "Google Japanese input"??

Windows 10 has a function that can switch IME with the "Win"+"Space" key, but if you have unintended IME switching symptoms, the other IME switching function "Left ALT"+"Shift" key is enabled. It is often the case.

So, this time, in Windows 10, I will write a way to disable the function of switching IME with the "Left Alt" + "Shift" key.

This feature also existed in Windows of past versions of Windows 10 or earlier.

How to disable IME switching with "Left Alt" + "Shift" key

To disable Windows IME switching hot key shortcut keys, you must first open the "text service and input language" setting screen.

How to open it depends on the detailed version of Windows 10, so I will introduce some.

Action center → Search for "Keyboard Detailed Settings" from "Search for Settings" such as "All Settings".

"Keyboard Detailed Settings" screen → Open "Input language hot key".If not, open the Language Bar Options.

If you can't open the "Text Service and Input Language" window in this way, try the following:

Open "Change input method" → "Detailed setting" of the control panel,

Open "Change the Hot Key of the Language Bar" in "Switching the input method".

Change the hot key of the input language

When the "Text Service and Input Language" window is opened, open the "Key Detailed Settings" tab and press the "Change Key Sea" button with "Switch in input language".

Here, check "Switching the input language" in "None" and press "OK".

Since it returns to the previous screen, press "OK" there to complete the settings.

In the initial setting, the switching of the input language is "left Alt+Shift", so it is better to look at the situation for the time being "no assignment".

Other keys can be assigned to switching in input languages, but "Ctrl+Shift" is often rejected because it is often used.If you really want to use it, it may seem good around "Ax Sangla+G".

I have a switching function of the "no conversion" and "conversion" key on both sides of the space key so that I can operate Mac ← → English switching in Windows environment. However, if the "no conversion" key is a small keyboard, this setting should be useful because it tends to press "left ALT" by mistake.

In addition, the initial setting of "Switching in input language" is easy to collide with keyboard shortcuts such as the google spreadsheet insertion, so if you put this setting, productivity may increase.
