[Review] Verify the practicality of the plate that makes the old model iPhone compatible with Magsafe

Other than the iPhone12 series, "Smartphone Magnet Plate (MCH-A011)", which enables Magsafe mechanism on a smartphone compatible with wireless charging, was released from Medik, so I tried attaching it to the iPhone XS MAX at hand. The "Magnet Plate for Smartphone (MCH-A011)" is a product of Choetech, China, and is sold for 1,980 yen (tax included) in two packs. Wireless charging is possible even if it is attached to a case with a thickness of 2 mm. There are two types of color variations: "Black+Dark Blue" and "Dark Blue+Dark Gray". I purchased "Black+Dark Blue" and tried it.

In addition to the main unit (2 sheets), the package of the magnet plate includes a instruction manual, and a paste positioning sheet for each model compatible with wireless charging.The instruction manual also has a Japanese description.The positioning sheet includes the iPhone8, iPhone8 Plus, iPhone XS, iPhone XS, iPhone XR, iPhone11, iPhone11 Pro, iPhone11 Pro Max, and for some reason for the iPhone12 series.The surface is made of leather -like processing, removing the film on the back and bonding it.

マグネットプレートが2枚入っていたので、iPhone XS Max本体に直接取り付ける場合と、iPhoneケースの上から取り付ける場合で、装着しやすさや充電速度を試してみました。ケースは、ワイヤレス充電に対応のSpigen「ウルトラ・ハイブリッド」です。 まず、ファイバークロス（非同梱）で、貼り付け面をきれいにします。位置決めシートを置くと、貼り付け位置が分かります。ただ、ケース越しの取り付けは位置がわかりにくかったので、マスキングテープで仮止めした状態でMagSafe充電器を当てて、充電されているかを確認しながら位置を決めました。マグネットプレートの背面にあるフィルムを剥がし、接着面を露出させて、取り付けたら、位置決めシートを取り外せば完成です。

I removed the magnet plate attached to the iPhone XS Max itself as a reference.I was able to remove the plastic card several times while changing the direction.When it was removed two days after attaching it, it was stuck with a fairly strong adhesive force, and after peeling, black adhesive remained, but it can be said that it can be fixed stably.The adhesive was removed cleanly after wiping off the worn -out shirt with disinfecting alcohol.The adhesive strength of the adhesive surface of the removed magnet plate remained slightly weaker, and it was possible to reuse it if it was pasted immediately.
